Several years ago you could only make phone calls with your phone. Of course since that time mobile phones have definitely advanced quite a bit. With the new sim free mobile phone, you can surf online, send pictures, chat on Instant Message, and even text. Some even provide you with live television shows and offer you GPS navigation too.

The technology is advancing very quickly. In fact, with the new hot pink mobile phone, it is so cutting edge that many users feel that it is actually far too complicated for them to use. A survey taken recently found that at least 60 % of people using cell phones think that the phones they have are too complicated for them to use and that they never use many features. Quite a few would be very happy with a phone that only had options for texting and voice.

As the sim free mobile phone market expands it gathers customers from both ends of the age range. The original core customer base for mobile phones was working adults. But kids are increasingly getting their own phones to use and they want all the latest technology, at least all that their parents are willing to pay for.

The new technology gets all the media attention as the smart phone market is where all the new technology is appearing. This is what companies want to sell because they make more money off the more expensive phones. And the carriers make more profit from hip young users who use email and the internet on their pink mobile phone than they do from older less technologically advanced users who just want to talk.

Of course phone companies shouldn’t ignore the older market, since it is really starting to grow. Many older people are purchasing cell phones. As the population grows older, the percentage of those that are older is growing, meaning they are a big market today. So if a sim free mobile phone is too difficult to use or has features that make it hard to deal with, companies can lose customers over this.

The bottom line is that there is no one phone for every user, so while the companies will always be focusing on the latest features and technologies that they can add to their top of the line sim free mobile phones, they cannot forget about granny who wants a hot pink mobile phone that is easy to call her grandchildren on and nothing more.

There are already simple phones available, but phone companies must keep on making them available with the new and improved models that they sell as well. The companies also need to offer services in ways that are fair to everyone that is using these plans.

Someone who only wants to talk will clearly not want to pay as much as a user who is surfing the web all day, nor should they have to. Different plans and packages that offer limited features will allow all users to find the right match for their needs.

You probably took time to shop around to get a great deal on your sim free mobile phone before you ever signed a contract on it. The only problem is that now you have the same pink mobile phone a couple of years later. You probably even still are with the very same deal. The good news is that there are probably some better deals available from your company or another phone company.

Negotiating a new deal is a great option when you are almost to the end of a contract. Take a look at where you are spending the most money on your cell phone bill. Then figure out how many minutes you need to have. Consider what sim free phone you would like to have too. Now you are armed with things to help you negotiate.

About two years later, most cell phone companies are going to want to make sure they keep your business if you have been a good customer. Usually they are even happy to give you a better deal to get your business once again. You will have to ask for this deal. You won’t get something like free pink mobile phones unless you ask for it.

You have already done the required research so you know what you want. You now need to find what the company can offer to you. Don’t go to a local store. It is best to negotiate on the telephone with the customer service people. If they don’t agree with what you want, then you only have to get off the phone. When you go to a local store, it is much harder to just leave the store when you have that nice phone sitting there in your hand.

When you call, be sure to tell them that you have been shopping around and looking at other providers and are interested in the phones and plans they offer. Then see if your company can beat those offers. They will not offer you anything that you do not ask for.

So if you want a new sim free mobile, make sure they understand that, that is what it is going to take to make you sign again. Also review the available plans available and pick the best one for you. Then you may want to see if they will add some extra minutes or extra texts to the plan for no extra cost.

In many cases they will go ahead and agree to giving you a better deal. It especially works if they think you are going to leave. So be sure that you take advantage of the opportunity at the right time. You will have to wait two years to do this again.

Wait until the very end of the contract to try and negotiate with the cell phone company. If you try doing this before then, cancelling will cost you a lot of money and the company will be pretty sure that you will not actually cancel the plan. This means they won’t give you a deal. So, remember these ideas and use them to get the deal you want.
